Announcements & Prayers
December 17, 2017
Welcome to St. Paul’s! We hope you enjoyed worshiping with us this morning. Take a moment to say “hello” to Father. Shawn, sign our guest book if you would, and please join us for Hospitality Hour next door!
During the season of Advent, evergreens are traditionally used to decorate the Altar in place of flowers in keeping with a more solemn tone of the Season.
The evergreens on the Altar are given to the Glory of God and in memory of Edward P. Butt by his parents Ed & Barbara Butt. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
The Sanctuary Candle is given to the glory of God and in memory of Jim Norton by Judy Norton. Rest eternal grant to him, O Lord: And let light perpetual shine upon him.
Today is our annual “Greening of the Church” after the 10am service. Everyone is invited to stay and help decorate the church for Christmas. Hospitality hour will be served in the Narthex. Thank you, as always, to the Ritchie family for hosting hospitality today.
The Christmas Letter & Flower Dedication Form were mailed last week. If you did not receive one, please contact the office. There are also additional flower donation forms and envelopes in the Narthex which you can put in the offering plate.
Next Sunday morning, December 24 is the Fourth Sunday in Advent. After 12 Noon, it is Christmas Eve. SO, there will be one service at 9:30am to celebrate Advent 4 and the Christmas Eve and day services are as listed in your inserts. Bring a friend!
There will be a Mid-Week Healing Service this Wednesday, December 20 at 12 Noon.
If you would, please take a moment and look at the Hospitality Sheet. We particularly need someone to host Hospitality Hour on the 31st of December.
